Up to 600 meals are produced using the classic à la carte concept in the Ommelander Hospital every day. Patients and staff can choose dishes from a menu at any time and the meals are then served in the dining room. Patients are particularly happy about this concept and there is only a very small amount of food wasted. MKN equipment is used in the central kitchen as well as the cafeteria. Confirming that MKN appliances were especially selected due to their quality and reliability, Facility Manager Jan Bijkerk says, "Quality is simply the most important factor for us at the hospital."
