Located in the heart of Holborn, Camden, L’oscar Hotel London is an exquisite, boutique hotel, which was recently revamped by well-known interior designer of Parisian hotels and restaurants, Jacques Garcia. Refurbished from a former church, L’oscar was designed with magnificent attention to detail, with the layout of the hotel mirroring that of a vintage theatre. Described as ‘London’s Most Stylish New Hotel’, L’oscar has been carefully furnished with leather wallpaper and velvet carpets, and was built with elevated ceilings and wonderfully decorated interiors.
Along with an exceptional guest room, L’oscar offers guests ‘an exhilarating dining experience’ in the hotel’s restaurant, the Baptist Grill.
To coincide with the hotel’s renovation, MKN were appointed to supply a full turnkey solution of professional cooking technology as specified by GWP Consultants.
I am personally a fan of the central island. I like the way it flows and how it works. Working with MKN was a good experience and we have really good results. They are responsive and I am very impressed with how robust they feel. The equipment is built to last and easy to use, which I like. They have a good balance between being simple but effective.
